Cappagh Historical Society
The Society’s work is centred on the ancient area of the Parish of Cappagh which is located just north of Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The Society concentrates its activities to the “heart of Cappagh” surrounding the old church in Dunmullan, which was most likely an early Irish monastic settlement dating back to at least the 9th Century. The original “Cappagh Bell” from this period is in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin.
In 2013 CSGWD worked with the group on the design of their book which has been met with many enthusiastic positive comments about its content and layout.
The first print run was so successful that a 2nd edition has been produced with a slightly different cover than the first (colour photo instead of sepia).
